Day 37 Gili Meno
Done my first diving this day. It’s something I never really dreamed of doing, but after my encounter with a few travelers I met in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, I took interest in exploring the world under the sea. It was rather spontaneous decision to go diving, I was strolling down along the beach, then seen all these diving shops, I walked into one to just check the price, then a nice looking girl offered one on one discovery diving lesson, so I decided to skip lunch and get started right away. It was a bit scary to dive in after like half an hour of basic training in a shallow pool. But it was nothing technically challenging, maneuvering was easier than I thought, really enjoyed it. I believe this experience definitely reshaped the following itinerary, brought about my curiosity to explore the seas around the world.
