Day 37 Gili Trawagan
About 15 minutes boat ride to the island next next to Gili Air, it was surprising how different these similarly sized islands can be. Gili Trawangan is much more built up, so many more hotels, tourists, everything else, there was even a cruise ship parked miles by, meaning Australian party goers. If I had taken a boat ride from Bali, I would have got here first and probably not even bother going to the other two islands, but having come from much calmer island next to it, I kind of wished I had spent more time in Gili Air instead, now that I have already booked the flight out of Lombok. This island still had its merits though, it was like a little Bali, got a shopping mile, a bunch of diving shops, and also a food market. For low season, it would have been an ideal place to be.
