Love at first sight, but gets a little boring by the second day. Guess it makes sense to only stay here for one short evening before heading back to Danang.
50. Hoi An, Vietnam
A beautiful, well-preserved old town, especially at night time, this is definitely the kind of place I enjoy staying over for some time, but after three days I thought I wanted to leave. It was not Hoian, but probably I simply grew tired of being in Vietnam. It was the food quality above everything. Food is cheap here, but I haven’t came across anything that really blew my mind with the taste, nor the ingredients good enough to provide necessary nutrients. After having a steak at a somewhat upscale restaurant as my last meal in Hoian, I thought I need to leave Vietnam soon for my health sake, at which point I regretted for having booked a flight to Nhatrang the night before.
