Another night spent at the airport. It’s inevitable to spend a night at Don Mueang or KLIA2 when traveling in this region with Air Asia.
43. Bangkok, Thailand
So it takes 3 flights to get from Inle Lake to Koh Lipe plus a taxi, buses & a speed boat, I decided I would rather spend a night by this airport near Bangkok rather than Yangon or Hatyai. There are colonial remains throughout Southeast Asia but at least in Bangkok, the Japanese influence seems to be the single most evident, and probably continues to stay that way for awhile. The two countries, both steered away from the European exploitation, high reverence towards the monarchs from public, have various reasons to resemble one another.
