4 days in paradise. Countless of photos capturing great moments but I pick this one as the most memorable, a rare photo with all four of us and in pristine underwater!
44. Koh Lipe, Thailand
It was two weeks ago when I found out my ex-flatmate Jonathan is coming to Thailand soon after I asked him a favour of picking up my stolen driving license which somehow ended up in Paris. My guess is that the thief camel man in Cairo sold it on black market, and whoever bought it attempted to use it in France. Anyways it’s a relief that they found it and I have someone to pick it up. Well, what is even better is that I got to discover this amazing island, and spend some quality time with my old mate. Four days have gone by so quickly that I wish I had followed him to his next destination but as I don’t know when my trip is going to end and I wanted to visit northern Vietnam before I have to return to work. We had a day of snorkeling in the far islands, kayaking on sunset, a day to chill by the beach and a vibrant night of Latin party like old times back in London. How fun it is to travel with a friend from a long past, now that people in my age group travel more than ever, and while I have flexibility to travel anywhere anytime, it would be a good idea to catch up with the old folks once in awhile.
