Places one’s got to see when in Myanmar. Structures are too humongous to capture in a single photo, but why didn’t I think of using GoPro๐
42. Yangon, Myanmar
So finally I am in Yangon. When I arrived in Myanmar 5 days ago, I had no plans so decided to spend the first night near the airport leaving sightseeing in Yangon to the end. The schedule worked out well as I prefer not to spend much time in capitals and the only thing I wanted to see in the whole city was this Pagoda. It seems to be a global truth that beauty is concentrated in the capitals, but the country’s charm is often lost on me at the same time. The only other thing that may have convinced me to stay a little longer is the Shan noodles at 999 which was simply mind-blowing. It’s been eventful and somewhat chaotic week, from Luang Prabang to gosh, how did I end up here. It was a bit exhausting, but well worth it, and fun memory to reminiscent about time to time. From tomorrow, I will be back on the beach, relaxed, doing whatever I want. Once again, it’s Thailand time!
