Gotta be my top favorite spot during this trip! I knew it as I have been longing to visit this place for over a year.
39. Luang Prabang, Laos
My country count is now at 88. Before I began a long journey two years ago, I imagined I would relentlessly travel until I hit ๐ฏ, I suppose it won’t be long from now. For long I have had this perception that out there is a dangerous world, so I would be better off taking this risky adventures before I get settled with a family. However, upon hearing from a girl I met here that it is in her bucket list to travel the world with a husband got me to rethink about how I would like to spend little of what is left of my thirties and subsequently rest of my life.
As I took interest in whom has causes a shift in my values, I made a prompt decision to follow her, therefore cutting my planned time in Luang Prabang short. After a late lunch, I went straight back to my room to pack all my stuff and checked myself in an hour to board on a night bus to Vientiane. If I ask myself why I did it? Because I can afford to be flexible time wise, why not be super spontaneous for once in life. I really wanted to spend more time in this cosy little town, but Luang Prabang will always be there I thought.
