Day 64 Mauritius
Finally the last post! This completes the chronicles of my journey which span for 228 days across the world. It’s not a arduous task to record bits of what happened on each day, but not something I’d enjoy doing at the end of everyday at least while I’m not on holidays. I’m just happy that I have one less nightly routine that bogs me down.
I must have had a lot of time to read, reflect, then revise my views during my time in Mauritius. The world where everyone speaks French tend to make one feel more isolated, and everywhere I go I had the open sea to stare at, the weather wasn’t necessarily ideal, so no crowds to disturb my serenity. All these factors plus I happen to finish reading the latest book by Yuval Harari led to begin posting what I previously would have kept for myself.
Seeing a slowly growing population abandoning social networks, I sometimes feel it’s about time to break myself free and spare time for something more productive or relaxing.
