Thailand! The favourite holiday destination for so many backpackers on gap year, yet it took me 35 years to finally visit this amazing country. Had I visited Thailand first, which would have sensible, I would have found all the other countries in the region disappointing. Food, beaches, hospitality, nightlife, everything one can think of when it comes to holidays, Thailand definitely tops in all criteria, yet every town in the country offers unique experience that I could have easily spent a whole year here. Only after 6 hours upon arrival, I was already in love with the country.
