Day 40 Penang
Penang was all about street foods. There were also street arts, jetty and so on, but at the time I wasn’t aware. For once I wished I had a bigger stomach because there were so many things I wanted to try and I could literally spend all day tasting menus. Apparently, the street parlours only open for a short time, all at different times of the day, which means one can plan a route around the city to taste the best of everything. I tried so many stuff I never heard of before. When I tried the same menu later at Alor night market in Kuala Lumpur two months later, it didn’t taste the as good. It was only then I realized how special Penang is. Would like to go back there one day and do nothing but eating for entire week.
