Day 35 Gili Air
This photo is simply too amazing in its colors, that I refuse to post it in monochrome. If I pick one place that I would really like to go back to, I’d pick Gili islands, in particular, Gili Air. I tend to get somewhat claustrophobic on tiny islands, but perhaps due to its proximity to the main land, well Indonesia is an archipelago after all, I didn’t feel the urge to leave for once. I feel I should have stayed there for longer. It was a lesson for me not to plan the outbound journey in advance thereby restricting myself to fixed dates. It was a long journey getting there, but not like French Polynesia, can be done again anytime.
