Day 43 Langkawi
Got some catch-up to do after a family visit to Berlin. Won’t be easy writing like 10 posts on one day, but I will try.
The best sunset I’ve ever seen in my lifetime and also throughout my tour around the world. The ferry ride from Penang to Langkawi wasn’t turbulent at all like some people wrote in the review. After all, I later realized it is mostly the dissatisfied are likely to go through the pains of actually writing a lengthy review. A ferry ride from Bali to the Gili islands would have been equally trouble free. As Langkawi is a tourist destination, I could feel the big rise in everything I can think of, a bunch of outlets along the beachfront, the water wasn’t as clean as I imagined. Malaysia doesn’t really seem to be the country for beautiful beaches, but it did have one hell of a stunning view. Lucky to have been there at the right timing.
