Grand tour day 4 Colombo
After buying a night train ticket to Trincomalee, I spent a long day roaming around the fort area in Colombo. I remember my bagpack was quite heavy at the time, weighing about 8-9 kgs with about 50 days portion of daily medicine. It was quite painful carrying it around for over ten hours. What was even more painful was the acquaintance I made online from the previous night. Now its easy to make out of the available photos to determine the overweight status of prospects, but I suppose fatigue makes one lose his judgement sometimes. Anyhow the day marked the beginning of 72 hours I would share with the most annoying travel companion ever from Thailand. As Theresa would have put it, no companion is better than a bad companion.
