Ich werde es vermissen, in Mitten zu arbeiten. Wondered around Mitte after work today, and found something that looked familiar. What a nice gesture to let a country far away install a structure that looks out of place.
While there are not that many sites interesting to visit in this modern city, every corner in Mitte seems to have everything war related. This is a bit of overload with the constant reminders of gloomy past, I suppose one can learn a lot about the events from the past century. Also, not only it provides tourists with unique experience, I believe it also has political impact not to get involved in another needless warfare, by taking orders from across the Atlantic.
