Out of all possible places in England, I don’t know why I chose Birmingham, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. It’s still (a far distsnt) second city in the UK; I can kinda imagine myself living here, probably not for long though…
So something got me thinking what’s the point of staying in expensive London while I don’t even have onsite interviews booked in? Moreover, I could rather spend time in other distant towns on the weekends, now is the opportunity. I still haven’t been to the second & third largest metropolitan areas; due to last minute availability & budget concerns, I ended up in Birmingham. (at Grand Central, Birmingham)
