My second attempt at surfing. Didn’t go as well as what I remembered having done in Bali, but I guess the waves were simply more challenging. Whereas in Kuta, the surf school guaranteed that everyone will stand up on the first day, here no signs of progress was seen. Didn’t see that many surfers in the first place, perhaps this is not ideal location even for the pros, it may be another case of misleading nom de lieu. Regardless, surprised to see far more count of me standing on the board than I could remember. The next day I tried on a smaller surfboard on my own, and ended up putting me through continuous pain for two hours. Guess I need some coaching after all. Until I visit the next suitable surf spot!
