I was so happy to have proper food, beer and coffee that I didn’t care what was in front of my eyes.
26. Milford Sound, New Zealand
Again in Milford Sound! Last time I was here, I felt like I came all the way here to see this on 5 hour bus ride, so perhaps my appreciation was overrated. This time my parents and I were exhausted from walking, sandfly bites, not taking shower for three days, hunger as we ate all remaining food for breakfast, plus we sprinted almost nonstop for 6 hours in order to catch earlier boat to arrive in time for Milford Sound cruise. As soon as we got onboard, we pretty much began devouring everything we see, as if we got on the boat in order to indulge stomach. One thing to take away perhaps, it’s often more gratifying to take more painful, challenging opportunities, but not to get the parents involved in those😅
