If I had to choose between the two biggest cities of Australia, it wouldn’t be straight forward as choosing between Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paolo, rather as difficult as choosing between San Francisco & New York. How could the two cities, both with relatively short history, turn out as so different cities? Geography and history may hold the answer, but even the late Chinese immigrants seem to have clear distinction on who belongs where. As though life Melbourne seems to be very comfortable, I believe Sydney will continue to hold onto the title of being the dynamic and cosmopolitan capital of this southern continent.
