When a nightclub promotion turns into a street party.
Back to today. I didn’t expect much from Belarus, it was just one of the few countries I have yet to visit in Europe. Having been to Ukraine 6 years ago, I thought Minsk would resemble a slightly more run down Kiev as the country had been one of the most isolated in the continent. But I was dead wrong!! I love this city. Only been here for 8 hours now but it’s nothing short of major European cities, Parisian style cityscapes all around, along with some Soviet flavours, but the people here seem far different from their former CES neighbors, friendly, lively, yet beautiful. Once upon a time, there was a rumour that the dictator forbids all beautiful women from leaving the country, but there are plenty plenty of beauties to be found in this city of 2 million. Guess I won’t bother with any touristic activities during my 48 hours here in Minsk.
