Day 29 Bali
Everywhere one goes in Bali, it’s hard not to appreciate the nature
I don’t know how I had energy to cycle over 20km in the sun, but I felt healthy as ever in Ubud at the time. Every meal was so tasteful not because of the wide of varieties of cuisines, but the locally sourced ingredients was probablt the best of best. Also there are countless scenic attractions, all around Ubud, which makes this the ideal spot to base oneself for at least some time. The waterfall itself was somewhat ordinary but not having swim in it was my first experience. it was rather the area surrounding, long steps taken to get down and the way getting there which made this day trip more memorable.
In the evening, I found out that I finally passed the last level of the CFA exam, putting an end to another big item overdue for years. And also having initiated the world tour, I felt like I have finally freed myself from all of unfulfilled goals of the past, and finally enable myself to leap forward.
(Day count jumped to 29 as I realized my original count started the day I landed in Italy, which means I may have to also write for the first 9 days if I were to publish a chronicle one day)
