Day 15 Kuta
Finally surfing in Bali. Surfing is something I have always wanted to do, one that I have always deferred due to lack of time, learning opportunity, et cetera. As a surfing Mecca, Bali has countless of surfing school options that cater all types of surfers at different level. It was not so difficult as I imagined, thanks to consistent waves in Bali. My balancing was better than expected, perhaps due to my experience with skating or snowboarding. Probably didn’t need to put on swim goggles if I knew there was a professional photographer. Unfortunately this was the first and last time, which is a shame. One more reason to return to Bali, to brush up my surfing skills, good enough to surf anywhere!
