Der Wochenende mit viel Spaß. There weekend began with no plan, but again Brigitte & Erik each took a turn to invite me to their evening out on Saturday & Sunday respectively. As a result, I got to see more of Berlin, also meet new people. On Saturday, I went for spazieren in Schloss Garden, quite scenic & peaceful for a touristic site, then joined Brigitte on a dinner with her cousins. What a friendly bunch; truly hearty folks. After we’d parted at midnight, stopped by a proper retro bar, also in Kreuzberg, danced & drank there for another 2 hours. Then, she pretty much carried me home on her bicycle making it a memorable night. Could never imagine my own mother cycling with me on the back, but I suppose this is the power of the mighty Frauen😅 Today, following the long hours of coffee time in the garden with all these unexpected guests, Erik & I cycled to Haus der Kulturen der Welt to hear a talk on jazz. Feels like summertime already; life in Berlin is so far, toll! (at Schloss Charlottenburg)
