I do like orchids, but not trailing around this old woman going all crazy at them. The parents are finally gone. May be the most satisfactory trip in Britain, but also the most stressful. Again I fckn underestimated how much stress I get from being with them 24/7 for a week long. For a week of their happiness, I probably traded with a year in my lifespan. I feel manipulated like many other times before, but then I need to work on how to say no in cunningly manner.
Back to job hunting, it seems likely that I will receive at least one offer this week. Determined to leave this city soon, I checked into a room on airbnb near Heathrow until Friday. Finding myself somewhat reluctant to say I look forward to moving to a new country, but I guess it’s natural. After all, I felt scared, lost, felt like turning back when I first moved here too. Will my self-fulfilling prophecy come true? Even though Berlin seems more attractive option at the moment… (at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew)
