2012 Resolutions

Hourglass, first step for my 2012 resolutions
Time Management: setting time limits hourly
The year for downsizing and simplified prioritization. If it wasn't for Bell's Parsy, from which I am still suffering, 2012 could have continued as another year of ruthless proceedings of pursuits. However, now that my limited capacity in terms of resources, including time, capital and physical stamina, has been realized, I feel the need for a reource-based planning as well as setting realistic targets allowing at all times, contingency.

Risk management of forthcoming problems
1. Health: sleep a lot, work in time blocks, let go and move on to the next task when it's time whether, especially for lights out(22:00) or way out to work(08:00), 3x exercise/week
2. Wealth: planning a sustainable retirement/employment transition, overseas balances clearance
3. Relationship: narrowed attention to the surroundings
Consciousness awakening in defining desires
4. Materialistic: iPad2, carbon violin case
5. Knowledge: русский, CFA deferred indefinitely
6. Destinations: Chamonix, Balkans, Baltics, Munich, Boracay
7. Feria: completion of one piece each in Ysaye, Bach and Paganini collections; next recital scheduled for 2012 summer, start on repertoire from June.
8. Business: business expansion, finding a new model, integrate jewellery supply

So.. that is it. I thought I downsized them enough, but still the list looks overwhelming already. What is the point for all this planning, and would it be worth spending a month of time on this? Definitely, decisions made this year will impact the years following upon, and to quote one of my favourite line from Montesquieu, "It is man who shapes the institutions, but afterwards it is the institutions which shape man."
