Can there be love without jeolousy?

In Moulin Rouge, a musical movie which portrays the bohemian ideals of true love. starring Ewan McGregor(Christian) and Nicole Kidman(Satine). The plot leads to climax when a courtesan Satine falls for the Duke, choosing money over her love, and Christian starts to become anxious. At that moment, his friend, the Narcoleptic Argentinian steps in and warns Christian of his growing jeolousy.

"We have a dance in the brothels of Buenos Aires. It tells the story of a prostitute and a man who falls in love with her. First, there is desire. Then, passion. Then, suspicion. Jealousy. Anger. Betrayal. When love is for the highest bidder, there can be no trust. Without trust, there is no love. Jealousy, yes, jealousy will drive you mad!"

Can a man truly love a woman and still act cool? Well, this is a story of a prostitute and a man, but still, even in normal(?) situations, this jealousy is unavoidable as long as the love exists. Therefore, in order to really love someone, one will have to withstand the feelings of insecurity as well. And yet, I am not so sure I am ready for that.
